I wrapped my two interior door handles in the 3M cf and it took me several tries to get it right (enough at least). I tried wrapping the area around the shifter and it just got me pissed. This weekend I'm driving down to my brothers house and we're going to wrap the center console, the a/c vents on the door and install my tanabe gf210's and spc rear camber kit

Here's my center piece I just finished wrapping. Very pleased with how it turned out. (Excuse the disgusting head unit, it will be replaced)

Finished the pieces and I'm happy with the result. I took the route of wrapping the gauge pods as well...that was fun. I'm currently wrapping the rear strut brace cover. I'll post pics upon completion.

Looks good, except the cubby button and 2 of the pods are going the wrong direction. Sorry but OCD on that would drive me loco.

Lol, I did the cubby button on purpose to differentiate it, but the one pod I just noticed as well and was like, Fudge. Oh well, my first attempt at it so I can redo it when I have more time

Haha, no worries, I didn't take it the wrong way. I'm the same way, which means there will be an overhaul in the very near future, lol.

How much material did you use for all those pieces? Is this 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber?

I believe I bought 20-25 sq ft and still had enough left over. Yes it is the 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber.

Should be able to find it here:

I chose the 60 x 40 option when ordering and it was more than enough, plus extra (which saved my a$$). I also bought the primer for some of the sharp curves and edges.

Ya I just ordered my 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber and primer..Went with the 60x40, looking to do entire center waterfall down to shifter, door switch panels and those little ac rings to set it off

If anyone on here living in orange county or los angeles thats done this, and is willing to do mine for me please hit me with a mssg. Got my Z about 10months ago and want this done right the first go! And obviously I'd be willing to compinsate you for your time.

Did the area around my auto shifter/ac controls and the lid that covers the center couple holders..took about 30minutes from start-finish. Think I might have a slight advantage, I do self-adhered (peal and stick) waterproof systems on roofs and walls at my work lol

I like that gauge cluster, sets the rest off perfectly!

How the hell do you remove the little plastic part around the a/c vents on the doors?
Or does it just pop off with a flat head screwdriver

04SilverBulletZ, I just replied to your PM, my bad for it taking me so long. You have to remove the door panel to get the vent trim off the doors. There are screws that hold in from behind that you can only access by dropping the panel.
