if you look at the mistake at an angle you will note it looks cool? Thats the whole point of the kit, who cares for the aerodynamics

since i know how endplates work, it looks more stupid than cool, but hey, its your car, you put a GT wing and long nose on a roadster, so its already for looks anyway

Excuse my ignorance but would you mind explaining how the end plates work?

I am sure the wing wont be completly futile in aerodynamics with a roadster, your 2 cents would be appreciated

I think the endplates look awful like that.

Other than that, I think this kit will look good on the Roadster. In for results.

Correct me if I am wrong but this will be the first roadster in the world with the full long nose kit

w/o endplates, you get a vortex created by the edge of the wing. add an endplate, and now the vortices move further down to the edges of the endplates and less chance to disrupt air flow. this all helps with 'channeling the air' so to speak in easy to understand terms.

rear wings on cars are so that the low pressure (underneath the wing) allowing the wing to suck the rear end down. the reason why you want endplates to go like down, and not up which you had it in the picture, is so that the low pressure zone of the wing (underside) gets less effected by the air's natural tendencies to vortex, and more of the air flowing underneath the wing stays under the wing, which all helps creating more downforce..

on a roadster you will be getting turbulent airflow from the opening of your softtop, so having a high wing like that will probably benefit somewhat since the higher you are, the 'cleaner' the air your wing will have to play with...

as for being the first full cwest type roadster, i think i saw some picts of a roadster at TAS like back in 08/09. but regardless, it'll be fun.
