So I was one of those people that was in denial about replacing my factory engine undershroud. I did everything to keep this thing from flying off my car; zips ties, bigger washers, different bolts/ mounting points. The truth of the matter is that the plastic begins to warp after time and then it saggs...
My theory is: Being boosted makes my car runs very hot, and this summer weather is only going to make it worse. Im guessing the heat has damaged my engine shroud and then it caused it to sag and drag when I drive around. Cant look phresh with some ish flapping under my car.
Well, drag no more:

^^^After browsing the internet I purchase my Z speed aluminum engine under shroud.
The fitment was perfect, and it looks 10x better than my old skanky one:

^^^The engine undershroud is definitely sturdier and more appealing. Im actually looking forward to changing my oil in a few weeks.

I know that there's a review thread about their product somewhere, but the other person chose the powder coated black version instead. I wanted the aluminum finish because I was mesmerized by the shinyness.
To finish up; the product was carefully packed, shipping was fast, two different finishes were available, hardware is optional, and installation took about 15 minutes.

Nice, thanks for installed shots! Just ordered mine yesterday after hitting some road debris and shredding the OEM one with my NACA brake ducts this weekend.
Taking it one step further and DIY'ing brake fans (a la NASCAR and NASA TT legal) to replace the NACA. I'm figuring they will be more efficient than the NACA w/ all the bends required for front mounting and pressure compromise with mounting underneath the car. A first for My350Z? Haven't seen any other posts of people using brake fans here.
Additional bonus, the fans (DETMAR 758) are cheaper (<$20) than the NACA ducts and require significantly less ducting.

I love mine, but this weekend with my oil change i need to hammer it back out. I bashed it pretty back when i went off track, probably have to do some welding where a rock tore it open.

Not sure, I imagine the powder coated version would. I don't drive it in the rain or in the snow. If you live in areas where they lay out salt for the snow, then it would be a good idea to get the order coated version. I'm gonna clean it just like I do with my exhaust.
lol, thanx homie

The plain aluminum versions like the OP's are not anodized. The Black ones are Powdercoated to help prevent corrosion. I have hundreds of people with the raw aluminum running them with no issues of corrosion. I know a few people just wipe them down with armor all once every so often.
It is quality aluminum so it's not like they corrode in a short amount of time.

Great fit,great quality...neat door for oil/filter changes.
You really don't need the "optional" hardware kit if you have all the OEM
parts...basically,the same thing.
