I have a 2007 350z with lambo doors from virticaldoors inc. is it possible to put seibon cf fenders on it or will they crack when i open my doors? pls no neg comments i am just looking to see if they will work

 

Do the doors attach to the fenders? If so, they will probably crack, if not you will be fine. Either way, de-rice your car, a good start is removing the played out Lambo door crap.

 

Yup, get rid of the lambo doors and go from there.

no it wont crack your fenders... jamaican me crazy.

what it will do is continue to beat the striker of your door to death , and gouge the top of your door panel. Since you already have them, you also know no passenger can close them without missing the striker, and the valet guys and car wash guys will rip your door off trying to figure it out.
No fun man, nbest thing i ever did for my car was to take em off.

hah.. jk man, its all in good fun, and i havent seen a lambo door thread in quite some time... that took cajones.

they dont attach to the fenders. the fenders had to be moded to fit the hindges though. and there are dents on my fenders from the nipple in the hindge on both sides that stops the door from going up too early so that is the issue weather or not it will crack or not.

Your fenders simply werent cut correctly.

To actually give you an answer to your q... NO, direct replacement seibon carbon ( ie, not widened ones) will be fine. I had VDI hinges too. never contacted the fender edge inside or out.
