I know that 06 lights and up have HID but is the mounting the same from 03-05?

I want to take the lens from an 04 or 05 and put it on my 06 headlight. will that work?

to clarify, I am talking about the clear lens that covers the outside fo the headlight

 

i think they are the same dimensions, but not 100%

 

the stock amber strip off of an 03-05 model headlight onto the 06-08? no that will not work without major customization.

I wasn't talking about the amber setting voboy, i meant the outside clear lens that covers the headlight, the part that you open when baking the headlight
