Yeah some of it was from selling my civic but i also did other small jobs to earn money. And everything i got for my birthdays and whatnot i just saved. I was looking for a job because i thought i was done with soccer but then the coach called and talked me back into it and my parents were happy so they said theyd help me with the car since i was back into soccer

thread contents= my obligatory picture post.

I chose to wrap the sheet metal to retain the paint beneath, door jambs etc. I may try to wrap the body kit later on.. for now, the semi gloss paint will do.

I have heard flat white is hell to maintain, and in Irvine? Dude, its gonna turn dingy after one summer. Dont do it.. flat black wrap is actually very easy to keep clean too. Its quite slick, its a good finish.

If u find somebody to paint you car matte anything for 3-5k then it will be done shitty...they run 8-10k and are very difficult to maintain...3k for a wrap is a pretty good price is done right

i agree.. except its suuuper easy to maintain if you do wrap.
Its plastic, and a duster just slides right over that stuff.. plus its already not shiny, so "day after carwash dust" doenst even show.. car always looks "clean".. until i dust it, then it looks REALLY CLEAN.

I just stopped over at Vivid racing and asked about having the painted veilside parts wrapped to match the rest of my car.. we shall see when i get my quote back. But thats for another thread..

OP.. assume 3k for a wrap on a stock bodied car and you will be very happy w the results.. you will want flat black, played out or not, its still dope.

As much as WE could bash on OP for mommy and daddy issues here, the professor in me says this kid and his folks seem to have the right idea....him playing soccer in college saves 5x the damn cars value on scholarship. Well played son! Sounds like a boy who has his priorities straight, good on ya!
