Car Wrap
Hey guys my moms boss owns a racetrack and they have a car wrap shop at the racetrack. I just bought a black 07 and I'm really excited to start driving it once I'm finally insured under the car. But anyways I could get a good deal to get it wrapped, but I don't know if I would want matte black or matte white ? Any opinions ? thanks

thats a good question haha her boss said we can get you a good deal but who knows. we are really good friends with them so hopefully it isnt too much. I've gotten a quote on matte black and the girl said it starts in the low 3000 range and then it depends on what aftermarket body kits and what not you have on it. If i were to get matte black i want to make sure when i get my rims powdercoated the matte blacks look similar you know? and also idk what i would do about the tail lights cuz there is no matte black tint, should i just keep them red or tint them ?

heres a picture of my tahoe in matte black
Took for fugging EVER! altho it only cost me 550$ for materials
Its worth it depending on how much they charge you. Me and my friend do car wraps as a side job and we charge like a 1/3 of what the shops do, and we still do a good job. Just make sure that the shop uses a legit material, that way you can still rip off the vinyl a few years down the road if you decide to go stock again.....
Oh and if you really wanna see a picture of a matte white Z gimme until the end of this month (materials on back-order) and I'll have some pictures
heres a picture to compare stock to a matte white

Yeah, I don't think that vinyl is a way to "go cheap".
It can be more flexible/convenient than a paint job - especially if you're going with specific graphics, multiple colors, or you're following a "fad" and not sure how long you'll want it that way. I don't have a full wrap, but have specific vinyl graphics, artwork, stripes/lines, etc. I could not be happier with the results.

Hahah yeah I'll definitely let you guys know what happens. 3000 is way to much I would only get a matte wrap if I get a really good deal. I am kinda leaning towards the matte white then do a gloss black wrap on the roof but I am definitely still thinking about it. Matte black would look good then i can paint the doorhandles and emblems. I just dont like the super matte black wrap, but i like plain matte black it looks nice
