Difference between vendors Nismo kits and ebay nismo kits?
There are tons of Nismo replica kits on ebay going for around $400 while the vendors kits here are going for around $1200. Are these the same kits or are the ones on ebay have really bad fitment issues??
thanks

different methods of injecting the material. the nismo will fit best, be the most consistant and have the highest quality control.
also should something be wrong, you have a solid place to go complain; might not have that on ebay.
IMO some vendors do sell the replica kits; and might be a bit more expensive, but also if something doesnt fit, might be able to get it replaced or whatever. plus there are various replicas, and some replicas arent that bad at all; others are...

just mimic the nismo kit, but have it molded elsewhere. when you can buy a nismo and make a mold from it; its not too hard to imitate; but the process used to inject it requires expensive machinery
We've installed a Nismo replica side skirts on our Track Z and I think they fits OK, some small gap next to the door sills (only see it when the door is open). We bought the replica kit on eBay from a company in Canada (DAMN, they cost us $1,000 seven month ago on eBay when they just came out
) and on the kit itself it has a sticker that said "Made in Canada". We didn't put on the front bumper nor the rear skirts so I'm not sure how they'll fit.
I think the one on eBay for $400 is without the spoiler, which is perfect because you can get Evo-R's carbon fiber Type-S Spoiler (similar to Nismo but ours has a different base).

you will never have the same fit as the original, unless the exact same mold is used. You cannot make a copy off an original production bumper fit good because your already off by one generation. You are making a negative mold from a positive production piece.
jeff@performance nissan sells the whole replica kit (front/rear/side skirts/wing) for like $1500! ive never bought anythig from him, but hell it is a dealership! and iv only heard good things about him! and he got my dealer to fix my tranny!!!!: ) chack out their sight!
350 Z motorsports has the authentic NISMO kit imported from Japan and a high-quality replica NISMO kit. Of course the replica's about half the price of the Japan imported authentic.
