Default A handful of stupid noob questions...

Yes the following questions are extremely stupid, but I can't seem to figure out a couple things; nor can I seem to find a "here are the dump questions answered" forum post...

1) How to reset the Trip-Odometer (resets gas mileage, right?)
2) What in the heck does "6000rpm" mean on the center left gauge?

I figured out how to change that center left gauges to whatever I want it to display and just noticed the 6000 rpm thing on one of the gauge displays. Dealer couldn't answer me that question.

Oh and if you are wondering, I just got one today...

1.) There are multiple trip odometers. There is an A and B on the display panel under speedometer. To reset that just press and hold the little black button next to it sticking out of the clear plastic covering over your speedo. That will not reset your gas mileage. The other is on the triple gauge cluster above your radio and cubby hole. There are two buttons on the right side of your speedometer, the top one toggles through the features on the left gauge of the triple gauge cluster and the bottom button, if pressed and held, resets whatever it is that you are looking at on that left hand digital gauge in the triple gauge cluster i.e. gas mileage, time, distance, etc.

2.) The 6000 RPM indicator is for the little red shift indicator light that will flash at you when you get close to redline. The light is located right under the center of the needle on your tachometer (RPM gauge). You can raise or lower that 6000 rpm to a certain extent by using that lower button that I mentioned above to change when that little red light turns on. I believe the light will start blinking 500 rpm's sooner than whatever you set the numbers at. Example: yours is set to 6000 rpm right now, so it should start blinking around the 5500 rpm range.

got it?
