NIIIIICE!!!! I been wanting to do the same thing but I've been waiting on how to make my emblems and door handles black gold/chrome. I just found a spray can, I just ordered it last week, I should get it soon and I'll let you know how it looks if you're interested.
Can you still see the reverse lights? They look BLACK.

The TE37 bronze wheels look great with black. I would have chosen the silver -- but that is my choice....I like silver. 2nd choice, if I had a black Z, would have been the bronze or dark gray.
Next mod ... get rid of the stock brakes... and go Stoptech ... or Brembo !?@?@

MAN!!! You cars looks so sleak. Im loving all the black and the bronze rims. If I had a black Z this would be the look I would go for. Great job bro. If you got anymore pics post em.

yes, i have a set of bat's overlays...I just got back from vegas...and will post pictures soon...personally, I love the way the yellow overlays look on my silverstone...it's a nice change.
Yes, please post some pictures after you install them, thanks! If the yellow overlays looks good then I'll get a set for my Redline, so it'll look like the Nismo JGTC Z33.

as for the headlights, they are very photoshopped (but everything else is real.) currently they are still stock. i did that just to give an approximate idea of what it'd look like blackhoused with the amber strip removed AND bat's overlays. i think then i'd be done with the exterior! but i have been i bit reluctant/heel dragging to get this done as there isnt a quick and easy way to do this locally and i lack experience on taking cars apart so . . . it WILL happen, and soon. keep you posted. James

Tulene, those are the only ones I have available online but I have a lot more in my FTP. How did you paint your door handles? I just recently received my black gold paint, imma use it for my emblems and also my door handles. As far as the headlights go, I think imma go with bat's overlays too. Keep me posted for any other mods you do. I love the look of your car. I've been wanting to do that for the longest time but I couldn't find any black gold/chrome paints anywhere.

the phantom Z site was my primary inspiration to get my Z done up this way. this was well before i discovered this forum and i was debating on buying the Z or a beater mini truck. i used your pic of the photoshopped Z with the shaved door handles as my template and then shopped it even further and added volks and blacked out everything. that was my desktop pic for some months. my girlfriend liked it best though originally i was just going to get a CS and call it a day, easy. i blame her for the hassle but i think it traces back to you originally!
anyway, about the paint, sorry i cant be more helpful, but i basically dropped it off at my mechanic's shop in san francisco with a laundry list that basically requested everything be blacked out, i dont know specifics, unfortunately. i was going for the john player special lotus F1 colorway or pontiac firebird trans am black/gold. those were pretty dope, they even had bullion gold dash trim i think.
