Well, I attempted to do a full smoke Overlay. The bends and curves made it difficult. I tried a 2 piece with little luck for the main piece. The vinyl won't go over flat without rippling. I'm sure it can be done using a hair dryer with the pieces I cut, but I try to make these things user friendly, so you won't need a hair dryer. I did however, come up with another Overlay similar to the one in this thread. Difference is, instead of it following the curve of the chrome piece, it actually meets up with the fender at the bend. I'll post pics later.

Okay,
I gave it another shot with the full headlight Smoke Kit. This time around I was successful!! The results are really nice. I'm using a medium light tint to reduce the amount of light affected by the Overlay. I turned the headlights on and noticed very little affect if any from the Overlay. I'll take pics tomorrow and post them up hopefully by Monday. I'm gonna keep this one for a while, I really like the way it looks. Plus, you don't have to remove the headlights or pry them apart to apply my Overlay.
