Default What to do about blind spots?

Im sure you guys/girls have encountered the notorious blind spots on our Z. I wanted to know what you guys/girls do to counteract this problem? If you have any tips and tricks or any mods for the Z to help you out with this problem, let us know.

ive seen a similar post on adjusting the side mirrors. Ive tried it and it works BUT i dont like fact that i have to re-adjust them everytime I have to do some sketchy parking. A memory setting for the mirrors would be a really nice feature.

I didnt know about the convex mirror replacement. This sounds very interesting. PLease post some more info on these aftermarket mirrors. I think I would like to buy two for the Z if they fit well.

zand02max: thanks for that link

i still cannot find a convex for the passenger side, but the one on my drivers side works great. the view from it is small like the passengers side, but the field of view is a lot better. i ordered it from a site in australia. it came promptly. if you guys find a passenger side, let me know.

oh, just to let you know, these are not aftermarket. it is a genuine nissan part.

when you must get into the next lane; downshift no less than 2 gears.

apply throttle 3/4ths to full.

wait till you pass the next car ahead in that lane

when that car is visible in your rear view mirror; merge.

heh works every time.

Before you make a change pull yourself forwar in the seat. This allows you to see the blindspot in the side mirrors.
