Default evo recaro seats in the z

Ok so I searched and didn't come up with anything ..recently I've been wanting to change my seats out . I like the all black recaros from the EVO 9 as they would go well with my car and are very affordable 600$ a pair. Has anyone tried this in the z ?

All you'd need would be rails... I looked for some myself for a while. Check Wedgeengineering.net for the rails

I'm interested in seeing how these look in a Z. I'm always looking for a good deal on new seats and I always have liked those. I think they would look pretty good. Especially on Magnetic Black

Heres a pic of them from a quick google search...

The ones that came in the evo ix are almost the same as the Recaro Sport in the US or Recaro SP-JC in Japan. I think the only difference is that the Evo ones don't come with extendable seat cushion and lumbar adjustment. Personally I got the Topline one which is powered and comes with "climate control" to preserve some of the luxuriousness in the car.

If you guys go to Autobacs ASM Recaro's site there are tons of Zs with the seats installed. Just a guess but I would think that the mounting bracket would be a standard.

http://autobacs-asm.com/user_voice/u...12469;ン

Z is the second item in the drop down list and you guys can use either SP-JC or SP-DC (limited super expensive version).

Edit:

Just tried the link above and it doesn't work well since it is CGI. Nissan is the third item on the top of the page ニッサン then you can find the car and seat model in the drop down boxes.

DO NOT USE WEDGE.

custom make your brackets for like a few bucks more.. you will bypass so many headaches for height and overall fitment.

+1 on the saving headaches. I saw and interview with a chief nissan engineer and they claim to have spent considerable R&D on the stock seating position of the z33 to emulate their r33 nismo race cars. At minimum keep the height off the floor pan the same.
