Extra Harness beside VDC?

Extra Harness beside VDC?
I have the Performance model Z and I recently gutted my entire interior....in doing so I noticed that when I unplugged my VDC button, there was another harness taped to it unplugged.
I'm assuming this is for the second button? Traction I believe?
Question is, if I get the other button and just plug it in, would it work??
More curious than anything.....or I could be wrong in thinking what the harness is...

Not "traction". On a car with VDC, Traction Control is integrated and part of the same system.
Can you take pic of other connector or identify how many pins, etc?
It's probably for the roadster top that came into being the next model year. On the 04, the top switch is next to the VDC/TCS switch. It was probably already in the wiring harness as early as 03.
