Usually a "wrap" is 3-d vinyl. This appears to be the CF fabric applied over your parts, clear coat/urethane over the top.
Not seen this before.
Seems like it would be pricey to be done right.

I agree,looks legit...
Usually a mold is used to pull pieces from. The "finish" or coat is at the bottom.
When you pull it out of the mold, turn it over...you seen the mirror finish.
Looks like this guy is putting a coat of resin on the part, applying fabric and stretching it/trimming the edges...then applying layers of clear coat.
I'd like to see the finished product to see the surface.
Seems like it would work well.Build up multu coats until you get it level.
Like to compare costs on this.

Im looking to get carbon fiber wrap using real cf / resin , not vinyl.
I know, he did my door handles, they look great, but I havent heard back from him.
Its been around for a while..I was gonna do it myself, but I went with 3d vinyl , didnt like the results so I pulled it all out.
Im gonna ship over the parts tomorrow..So Ill be the guinea pig.

Very interested in this. Been contemplating getting the materials and learning to do this myself.
I get nervous when I see websites that aren't maintained (see their monthly specials page). Plus in the 'What else can we do' section, they have a bunch of pictures of pieces that aren't in their 'Previous Jobs' section. Are they just showing random photos?
Maybe someone in San Diego can go check them out...

the real trick is how they edge roll etc.. you cant add layers of product over the edge of things and have them fit back together when you install them in your car... the clearances will be jacked.. ask them about thier process for this.
aside from that, they only have the one picture on thier main page of Dinoc vinyl over that mirror.. all the rest is just what someone up top said, a layer of epoxy, stretched fabirc, and more epoxy over it.
If ithe epxoy layer is wavy its no good.
if the weaves arent straight and end matching its no good.
If theres tons of bubbles from not using a vacuum device, its no good.
All good things to ask the contact person.

This is Tonys work on my car, love it! I really hope he comes around and replies to my emails ...
These are track headlight covers I bought from Crom and Tony wrapped them... even with the carbon on it, they fit flawlessly.
