Oddly enough my bumper seems to match better now. Is it possible that as the paint cures it darkens?

contaminants/dirt/etc will make white paint darken - you should see white cars from japan with all the smog set into the paint such a difference once claybarred.
Anyways,
maybe leave the bumper alone and use a claybar and paint cleaner on the rest of the car to get it to brightenup a little and maybe they will meet somewhere in between.

I actually clayed/polished and waxed the car the day I hit the deer. So the paint is in top notch condition and clean...

in that case I would take it back to try get a better match, not if they are going to charge out the wahzoo for fixing their mistake. if they charge you a bunch - tell them no thanks and take it to the shop down the street just out of principle. and slander them all across town.

I'm not paying for the bumper to be repainted. I will deal with the way it looks until I get ready to do the V2 bumper.

It's no big deal.

Somehow before entering this thread I knew your car was going to be PPW... First two post sum it up.

If we blend ours maybe we haz perfect match?? Mine is yellow.. When i bought the car back(long story) i had my painter throw a quick coat on there. No charge. Once i get use to driving 3.5"(second pic before coil install and filthyyy) front the ground I will repaint the front.

Like everyone says, it will never match unless you blend it in but they could have gotten a lot closer than what I can see in the picture. I got a V2 and the shop that did mine got is pretty damn close. He said it was a pain to match it too but he got it as close to PPW as possible. The shop u took ur car to looks like the worst shop ur insurance could have picked.

I suggest u to get the V2 front end from extreme dimension and get it painted buy a real paint shop. One that does quality work. Just remember...what u paid for is what u get. And it looks to me like your insurance picked a cheap *** place for ur whip to get fixed at

why is the insurance company not paying for a blend? That's the correct way to do it...so the adjuster should have written for it.

anyways, I wouldn't have accepted it.
