If you just bought it take it back to the dealer. Normally they will do it free of charge. Call ahead first though. I'm sure it's a simple DIY if you want though.

acetone and a rag.

Just use a small amount and put some wax on the areas that you wipe off.

The stripe is most likely vinyl. Heat gun to pull up one end, then pull. Depending on age, it may deteriorate when pulling. Goo-be-gone will work.

If I must use a tool on paint, soft wood such as a Popsicle stick is good.

Depending on how long it's been there and the amount of sun exposure, you may pull some paint along with the vinyl. That happened on my cousin's Mustang.

I've removed p stripes before.Unless your car is xxx yrs old, been baked in the sun,SHOULD'NT have a problem. You need to go slow.Use a hair dryer to heat the vinyl
tape adhesive.Some tweezers to pull a bit at a time.Remove whats left/residue with a cleaner 3-M OR GooGone--polish.

I had the same pinstriping on my 08 base - gold pinstripes on Mag Black. Trusty heat gun did the trick for me. Remove the residue with your favorite cleaner - I used Maquire's. Here are before/after pics of my base the day I brought her home and as she sits today.

+1 for a heat gun.

It should be pretty easy, not like when I had my NISMO graphics kit and I decided to remove it
