Default 2008 Cubby Door... Weak Stuff...

so it had some scratches on the button when i bought my Z... so i bought some flat black touch up paint to repaint it thinking it would be easy... which it would have been until i went to clean it off, and as i wiped on the corners around where the button is.. the factory paint or whatever came off and all i could see was white sigh... so of course imma have to repaint the entire door now. Anyone else have this happen? i didnt think i was applying too much pressure maybe its just because it was on the corners? Anyways what type of paint should i use for this? Flat black was close but not the same as the original paint.

edit: i just noticed i had a full can of rustoleum flat black engine enamal.. lol maybe i could just use that?

Its never gonna be right unless you just get a new door.Check E-BAY or places that sell used Z parts.Or,you can buy a stick on overlay for the door in
about 100 different colors and materials available...could also do in black wrinkle finish.
