Default So many different colors to choose from *shrug*

Okay, I am in need of IDEAS and new SHADES that I didn't think of. Right now I am set on a silver / gray as my car now is Silverstone. I have been looking at Porsche Silvers as well as GTR and R8. Feel free to throw other colors as well, I just don't want anything too "oh look at me". If I can't decide, car will just get sprayed Silverstone but one "shade" darker.

The car will not be stock and have that aggressive look when finished. CF hood will be painted and the wheels are Silver SSRs. Will have front CF splitter, rear CF diffuser, and a CF GT Wing that will stay CF. The hood is just too much for me.

If you are going to tell me it's my car and coming here for opinions is stupid, I will slap you. I am asking for ideas on other shades / colors of Silver and Gray that I did not think of. Please not other stock Z/G colors.
Will give cookies to those that help, Thanks

Just paint it BMW Brit racing green.

Who cares about silver/grey... It's all been done. Too much.

Not a fan of Green though. I know it has been done a lot. But now with all the Matte finishes and wraps, feel like all these odd colors are coming out more often.

First of all,I think you are going about your selection of a color the right way.A factor, what color is your interior?I too have a silverstone.I'd bet its either black or,burnt orange...maybe gray.As I've stated before in posts, certain colors look best on certain cars. The Z,especially the 350,does not need a "wild" show car color. The overall lines of the car does not need any "help" from these hot colors.A darker gray sounds good...and are quite popular at this time. The gray used on the new Camaro is a graet shade.Mazda
also does a excellent "charcoal" gray.I agree to downplay the CF(I'VE GOT ACCENTS ON MY Z),especially the hood is a great idea. What type of rims are you running(color/finish)?
This is also a factor to pull your color scheme all "together".Seems a dk hyper black or what is being used on the GTR or,the new 370GT (European release) would really fit with the darker gray.If you are doing a darker gray,I'd make sure it have enough metallic to make it pop.

Good luck!

BRG does not look good on a Z...seen it.
A real BRG does not have any metallic. Its almost black.
When you start sparkling up a green it becomes cheap.
For some reason,dk blue works on the Z...deeper and darker the better
with a hint of metallic.
(thumbs DOWN)

I thought of the new Charger Grey, have one as a rental right now and really liking it. Interior is black with the grey headliner which I have been thinking about doing suede. My wheels are SSR Professor SP3 in Silver(When they arrive). Have OEM Gold Brembo BBK as well. If I get new set of brakes of Powder coat these and anything else that may get coated ( Cage when put in ) Will be a Red / Candy Red.

I even played with the idea of Silverstone with a Red / Candy Red flake in it, but I don't know if that will flow right with where the car is going / will be.

meh.. my GS 300 is about that color.. im not a huge fan of it..
the last paint color help thread i saw was for a very muted olive/silver/lime color on a photochop.. was very cool.
If i had to paint mine, id roll w the non metallic basic gray ( grigio somethin or other) on the Reventon, or the new Scion basic gray... looks cool. Very Euro, very OEM, cool w out being flashy.

What year is your GS? If it's a 94-2001 it never came in the gray I'm referring to unless it was a Sports Design model(very limited).

R35 or R34?

The R35 has 2 I like with the picture I posted being Gun Metallic ( from what I can tell ) The R34, not sure of exact color, haven't looked into it.

Titanium Link

Or

Gun Metallic Link

As for the other colors, they are nice as well and thanks for input. I also am looking into the new Charger Grey as I mentioned as well as Mazda 3 and Ford Taurus. Some darker Greys more along the lines of the R35 Gun Metallic.

Again thanks
