Arrow Nismo Fender Flares Advice/Suggestions

I bought these used and the previous owner cut an inch or so from the rear of the flares to accomodate whatever rear valance he had. Anyhow, here are my options:

1) Line them up with my side skirt, leaving a gap between my mud guards and flares.
2) Slide them back and line them up with my mud guards which would involve me shaving the rear of the flares diagonally to meet the mud guard lines perfectly.

NOTE: I do not want to remove my mud guards.

Flares lined up with the side skirt:

Flares pulled back to the mud guard:

If it was my car, I would just buy new ones. I don't like the look of it lined up either way, with that gap.

if those were mine, the gaps would annoy me so much I would just sell them. How would it look with it in between? So not lined up with either the side skirts or the mud guard, would that look better?

I'll give that a shot tomorrow but I think the gap between the mud guard and the flare bothers me the most.

Never thought of the G mud guards. Does anyone know if they go higher than the Zs?

That crossed my mind as well but I know nothing about body work. Plus I wouldn't want to do anything that would prevent me from taking my rear bumper off. I had considered "filling in" the gap above the mud guard with Bondo or something but, like I said, I know nothing about it.

Thanks man, after I get this gap issue figured out I'm going to work on pulling my fenders and cutting the lower portion of the flares to actually gain 10mm...not just have the look.

No. The 18" center caps pop in, the 19" caps are bolted in.

The gap in the rear (heh) is definitely my biggest concern. I would even go as far as to modify my mud guard to close the gaps. As far as buying new, it's crossed my mind but I got these pretty cheap and they are already painted so I will try my best to work with what I got.

How does it attach on the inside? I'm looking at getting some for my Z but I have rolled fenders.
