--Well here's the thing, I had a 450.00 VS Vis carbon front lip and it fit perfect and looked really clean! I had it a few years ago and it lasted a little over a year but eventually broke from hitting something in the road.. After that i picked up a ebay one simply because i knew it was eventually gonna get smashed because i just got D2 coils and dropped the car quite a bit. Being so low and scraping everytime i pull in anywhere defeats the purpose of putting an expensive front lip/bumper on(just my opinion because i daily my car). But i wont put something on the car if it looks like ****. Here are some pics of mine

-- Here is a pic of my old 450.00 Vs Vis carbon front lip and my 80.00 ebay front lip.

how are they mount on the car? 2 x 10mm bolts on both side? I wonder if i can wrap this lip in the 3M Di-NOC carbon fiber wrap that is the big trend going on in the scene....

I could sell my Mine's lip and get this instead..

Edit: nvm, this wont fit 06-08 new front bumper style.

2nd edit: 06-08 version. http://bit.ly/sV6QNI
anyone wanna get it and see how is the fitment?

Mine was mounted with two screws going into the fr bumper on each side and then double-sided tape in the front.

i've learned my lesson with dropping the car so low and having an expensive front bumper/lip from my past cars.

i've destroyed my A-spec lip on my RSX once, an authentic mugen lip on my integra, authenc civic type-r lip on my civic...stillen lip on my maxima.

there are times where you just can't avoid debris on the road, whether it comes from nowhere or you have no place to manever your car.

i say...the ebay lip is worth a shot for the 60-70 bucks. if it fits good throw it on! im sure if you destroy it....you won't be as upset when you destroy a 400+ lip.

good idea. Theres nothing to lose. They offer 7 days return. The only thing i could lose is $30 on the CF vinyl material. I'll try it on the 06-08 version.

Each side to the argument has a clear, cut case.

If it's a show car, get an authentic lip. If it's a daily driver, get a decent replica that isn't total garbage. Then hope it doesn't get banged up too bad.

Either go big or go home.

Great lip, great fitment, worth the $70 by far. It will never chip or break. I've curbed mine, run over stopping bricks, and scrape on any incline over about an inch and it holds up awesome. With two screws and some 3m tape I've taken it over 130mph and it stays strong. I suggest grabbing some Krylon fusion and spraying it at least flat black, or you'll see the bends in the plastic/PU.

my lip is very resilient, but def subpar quality wise.

fitment sucks, but it is very flexible and has already taken a
few crazy hits which would have cracked a cf lip.

shipping is crazy fast!! i bought it on Wed and it arrived on Friday. From CA -> NV. How do you guys mount this on? I see a bunch of screws, pop rivets, and mounting brackets. I have an 06 btw so the front bumper isn't the same as 03-05.

Im getting mine wrap soon and will post some pics later.

I have been hearing 3m tape along the whole lip and screws in/near the wheel well. Please remember to post pics I am still trying to decide if I wanna pick one of these up or not!

Yeah please post pics, I'll order it this week if your pictures are good. And did your lip come whole or rolled up my toilet paper? If it came in a whole box, please provide the vendor you purchased from hopefully shipping will be quick to TX.

fitment on the 06-08 Z is spot on perfect. Very pleased! The lip is very flexible and you can pull it out a bit on one side to make a tight fit.

they tried cleaning it and stuff but no luck. It needs to be prep for paint, like prime and stuff then the vinyl can stick to that.

Too much work. Im selling it.
