Sorry for the dirty car, I'm sure some of you know washing your car during pollen season is pointless. So basically the fitment on the front wasn't too bad, it was just every corner on the piece was kind of jagged and holey as you could see from the pics. The fitment on the side was nothing surprising because I've seen other people with these problems of it not wrapping around the entire bumper, I was too lazy to mess with it with the heat gun to get it to fit a little better so I'll probably do that next weekend. If you have any other questions or would like more pics just shoot me a message or respond on here.

Damn it wouldn't have been as bad if the sides atleast wrapped around all the way

Yeah I thought about cutting that flap off that goes into the wheel well or trimming it a little so I can get it to fit properly. It doesn't look too bad for the price I paid, I feel like if I just spent a weekend tinkering with it I could get it to fit pretty nice.

Dude that looks terrible, I ordered mine from GTSPEED I believe on Amazon and its 100% solid, wasnt rolled...there may be a difference in variety of original location, or in molds they come from? Idk, but I woul dpull that off, car is too sweet for what appear to be tacks and cracks.

I was contemplating whether getting it from amazon or ebay, took the risk and got the cheap one and it definitely shows. I might play doctor with it and see if I can make it look and fit like a glove, so we'll see what happens

This thread is ridiculous.

I get it. You want a cheap lip and you're willing to experiment. Fair enough. Some people have had luck, and others are determined no matter how horrible the fitment and quality. If your lip doesn't fit, IT DOESN'T FIT. Quit drilling screws into your bumper! No amount of screws is going to make it fit and it looks terrible! Where did you people learn to put on a lip? No $70 lip in the world would make me so determined to make fit that i'd be willing to drill it into submission. If it fits, great. It if doesn't, TOSS IT!

The last aftermarket lip I bought was a BYS kevlar lip for my EK. I had an OEM lip on my 240. I avoid eBay lips like the plague. My beat up OEM lip wasn't all that pretty, but it fit properly. Besides, NOTHING on my 240 was pretty. Besides me.

I'd rather run no lip, then a lip with a bunch of screws visible.

I took it off last night, it lasted for about 2 days before I realized it was ghetto looking. I'm not real worried about the screw holes in my bumper or the lip because I'm getting a amuse front bumper and other exterior mods in a month, both parts will be inferior soon so no need for them. If I were keeping them this obviously wouldn't have been done. I was going to mount it properly but the hydraulic in my jack was apparently blown but hey thanks for your input and the awesome diagrams.

My god, judging from the last couple pics, I guess I got lucky with the one I just bought off of a buddy who is in a financial bind at the moment. He bought one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-08-09-NIS...ht_3500wt_1139

A little back story, I originally didn't want his 06+ Ebay Nismo knock off until I figured I couldn't go wrong with spending an extra $50 to help him out. I bought a couple other things off of him, if I didn't like the lip, I could just throw it away. So with the lip sitting under my bed, I test fitted it for shts and giggles, it's actually not that bad, 7/10. There are some gaps here and there on the very top, but since it's very flexible I'm sure some 3M double sided tape should fix it. My only gripe is the lack of mounting for bolts underneath the sides of the bumper like the Veilside V1 has.

Since I like the look of it, I plan on getting it painted and try to fit it best I can, pics to follow soon.

For front lips u don't need a lot of mounting points . Jus 3m the entire middle area where the lip goes into the middle of the bumper and 2 screws at the ends should be all u need.
