Can't argue with you there but they're lighter than OEM and fit like OEM. Yes they're retarded expensive and real engineering go into them too.

I wanted the aftermarket hood but didn't want to pay the premium for carbon fiber.

I did see pics on here somewhere of someone cutting the vents himself and it looked great. (Or maybe it was photoshopped)

I guess I'll keep an eye out for used or consider customizing my own.
