Non Carbon Fiber Hoods?
Yes I've googled but my search is coming up empty. Does anyone make an aftermarket hood that isn't carbon fiber? Nothing against carbon just trying to find a less expensive alternative. thanks in advance

Someone makes a great aluminum hood for the car, it is even lighter than most of the carbon hoods.

You can get an OEM style CF hood new for like $400. WTF else would be cheaper?

Are you doing it for looks, heat dissipation, or weight? I think your only other option is to modify your oem hood. A couple of people have cut theirs like the nismo RS model, you could try that.

No company has or will spend time in a wind tunnel to prove heat removal with any hood design. If you want holes in your hood, just cut some.

^this. I don't think there is any proof it will lower temps, but it sounds like it could work

Oem beats anything, asm and mcr parts are retarded expensive... I don't mind rock chips in oem safe hoods but I'd be kinda pissed to mess up stuff like that. I think it's for show cars u know?
