Default Gauge Light Question

Im wanting to replace the stock gauge color from orange to purple in my 350z. And I'm not sure if i need to get bulbs or a completely new gauge face in order to do this.

I was looking into buying these, but am not sure if it will work:

and for the volts and oil pressure gauges:

It will probably be very disappointing. I did a blue LED conversion for a friend's civic. Blue LEDs have very low output and purple is even lower. They won't be bright enough. Your best bet is to find a DIY and do it custom so you can put as many LEDs as possible to make sure the output is enough that you can actually see it.

here is an example of the difference in blue vs. oem on my old civic

Stock. Note the even light throughout the gauge and the needle is red all the way.

With replacement LEDs. This is even removing the plastic on the needles that is supposed to help diffuse light.

You can see how spotty they are. I tried everything to avoid it. Blue just didnt have the even output required for a replacement from one of those kits off ebay. You need to custom order your LEDs to get the most powerful possible.

I hope I can jump in here, I want to change the 3 gauges in the centre pod. I would like the gauges that come to life when you turn on the engine. (I am clearly not technical) lol

I live in the Kansas City area and would like them done professionally, anyone know of where I can get these done please?
Thanks.
