i thought they just popped out and in, that's what happened when i took the rubber one off installed the aluminum pedals, but then when i was installing my radar i had to reach for the fuse box so i popped it out, and now it will come out easily (not as hard as the first time when it was in).

Pop-in, that's it. Gotta move the rubber gasket just a tad (I think, it was so long ago, but took less than 10 minutes... I work in narrow confines within the limits of my garage).
By far, the most self-explanatory AND easiest aftermarket mod to install to date. You WILL NOT have any problems installing this one.

I tried popping in the oem ones and I broke off the pegs I pushed it REALLY freaking hard against the gaskets and I made sure that the gaskets cleared the plates but they still wan't snap in
