Default window wind deflectors

Does anyone know if wind deflectors are made for the Z, if so, who sells them? They are plastic like trim pieces that are attached to the side of the A pillar to redirect wind out of the cabin when the windows are down. Some of you may think it's tacky, but I wanna be able to hear when my windows are down. Anyways, I searched and even googled and all I get is, universal sunroof wind reflectors. Also anyone in So-cal have a sunroof installed? If so, where and how much. Anyway, thanks.

If you were to install these and mounted them to the roof youd have to roll the window down every time you opened the door or you would rip them off the roof. Frameless windows after all. They do make rain sliders for the Z though, but not what youre looking for.

I'd say it would only take the first passenger to ride along, get out and rip them right off lol

First of all, they would look like crap.Secondly,as mentioned...they would get torn off in no time.
I would think you could get a sunroof conversion. They put e'm in all sorts of cars.IN n fact,I've seen a few in this area. To me,the sunroof just did not look right.Almost a ricer look that made the Z look cheap. If the designers thought a sunroof would look good, they would have put one on the car. Also, you may have some stability/body rattle probs.
IMO,if this was important to you,you should have bought a G.

There's nothing there, just universal sun roof deflectors, thanks anyway. In my original post, I stated that I had already used search engines

I've seen some for other cars that are "stick on", so I began searching.

As for the sun/moon roof, taste is subjective. I would like a sunroof for cabin comfort, some wouldn't. If you guys have not noticed by the wind deflectors, I really don't car about the infamous "ricer" look. I just want the option to not have wind in my face on the highway and keep cool without ac. Plus many purist already associate my car as a ricer.

Do it if you like it. You probably will be among the very very few (I mean extremely few)
Zs that has them. Unique class maybe.

There's a company named webasto(I think), and yes rattlles do happen. My car makes alot of noises due to the mods it has already, this isn't new to me. As far as the comment about looks and oem designers, manufacturers just like people, have different perspectives on certain cars. And yes, I should have bought a G, I should have done a lot of things in my life. I also should have not purchased a performance car within my budget, when I was in the market for a performance car because it did not have a sunroof. Thank you for enlightening me.

And for the rest of you, please take into consideration it is my car not yours. Each person's taste is subjective. I do not intend to sell my car to buy one with a sunroof. The sunroof nor the wind deflectors are a deal breaker for me. I have owned the vehicle for a long time, I just like sunroofs and it occured to me to ask for shops in socal. I did not ask for an opinion, but for refrences to shops. Yes there is a thread already and I read it, most shops are in the east coast.

Alot of people have them on the east coast apparently. I am on the fence about it; that is why I asked if anyone knew a shop or a person that has had one done, so I can see it in person.

Care to address how you intend to open the doors and/or get in the car after you close it up once these bad boys are on?

Sure, if you read one of my previous post, I wrote that I have seen some(not on a z) before that are "sticked on"(strong adhesive) onto the a-pillar, not the door frame. Our Z's do not have a full door frame(obvious I know, but some are compelled to announce this, since I did not make this observation in years), so I asked if anyone has seen,or purchased any that stick onto the a-pillar(on the outside directly on top) not the door.

I've read all of your posts. All of the wind deflector deals attach to the a-pillars for their respective cars and they are all adhesive as far as I've seen. The problem is, your a-pillar is not part of the door. That means, when you open the door with the window up, it will hit the wind deflector that stays intact with the a-pillar that is part of your roof. Hence, why I'm asking if you put this device on your car properly, HOW WILL YOU OPEN THE DOORS?

Well, when I design them, I'll let you know.

The delfector could be placed so that the window clearance does not interfere. Further up/ out I would imagine. But again, I can not answer that for I am not the designer, I am just looking for some. If they don't exist or I can't find them oh well. Just like a bug deflector, it does not necessarily have to be on the hood(it is for convinience I suppose). If the deflector is position futher ahead, to the point where it is not intrusive, it will still reflect wind. Now does are my opinions, as I do not make deflectors or know wind resistance formulas to accurately answer your question.

+1 on this not working very well.

The Z is not the correct application for this idea since the windows are pillarless. If you look at all the other ones for other cars they attach to the door itself not the A-pillar

If you place it higher on the door it completely defeats the purpose of deflecting the air

Yes I know. I've never seen any myself and decided to inquire if some one has or actually has them. All these opinions on taste and fitment are beyond me. Waizz, can you do me a favor and close/delete this thread, as many members cannot read and comprehend. I asked for a specific answer, not irrelevant opinions.
