CF Nismo replica side skirts
I bought some side skirts off a member a few years ago but never had the chance to install it. But finally decided to install it and put my car into the shop. My shop guy said the sides skirts were way off by 3 inches. It will not fit at all. Any suggestion? Is it a total lost? Ill post some pictures this evening.
thanks

??Way off by "3 inches"...
Is this in length?Mounting holes?
Don't understand.
Since you are saying that the skirts are CF,this would be a problem to modify and keep
in a CF finish.
If the problem is mounting holes, this could easily be fixed.
Lets see the pics.

I ordered some Shine CF skirts. The holes did'nt match up to the OEM
skirt holes.I redrilled where necessary to make it fit.Not many aftermarket body parts are a perfect fit. Most need some tweaking and some ingenuity
to get e'm right.
Plus properly laid Carbon Fiber isn't as easy to "tweak" as most cheaper companies' 1 layer Carbon Fiber, weak fiberglass backed work, or thin PU products.

There are a bunch of companies doing the Nismo clones. Most I've
seen are urethane.
This is true, but I only had one issue PERSONALLY with Extreme Dimensions for instance, but know about 10 other people that all had problems.
