Long story short..
My cars flat black, and so shal be the wing.. I dont feel like paying another 1500 bucks for a shiny carbon wing that will simply be wrapped or painted.
Im looking for a 60-70" true functional Airfoil style wing.
Fiberglass or aluminum to save cost over the APR.
Any help would be appreciated.

nah id leave it carbon so its resaleable. I ahve a big roll of this black vinyl still, id just wrap it..
going for the Rauh Welt look, so its going to get tacked onto the ends of my Elia WRX wing.. if I buy a used GT500 the stanchion holes will be too narrow..

APR says they can build em however i want i guess..
I jst saw someone is selling a GT500 here tho.. but he had a typo, looks like its only a 300.. wants 1300 for it still.. haha.. some ppl.
new gt500 is 1500, i guess thats what Ill have to do unless someone knows of a f-glass version.

dude.
those are 4 thousand dollar wings.
the static is half the proce of the active.. so thats 2000.
Im starting to think 1500 to APR is not such a bad idea.

found a sweet deal..
Originlab makes some pretty killer looking wings.
HUGE sizes too.
1605mm 1700mm and 1755 mm, so thats just under 70 inches. Pretty cool.
HUGE mounts are available at no extra charge, sounds like they keep a fair amount in stock too.
retail on the 1755 mm carbon fiber wing complete is 860.. can likely do far better thru my local shop that is already a dealer for them etc.
Actually, i just found the link here.. sweet. Well here ya go.

Thank all, figured id leave what i found on here for anyone else who may read the thread.

good thread tho, lots of good stuf to ponder for sure. Since i only need the wing element, Origin looks pretty much the way Ill go.

I'd look at Kognition...they offer up to a 78" span. You are going to want to mount a wing with that much surface area to the frame. It WILL bend the metal on your hatch if you just mount it on the surface, and possibly break off all together.

Ill ask them tomorrow, but getn said they used it on a 350z w no issues ..and founded like he REALLY did it..versus someone just saying " oh yes it fit 350z fo you".. engrish.
its still just a fun car..not a race car.. but the bending thing certainly makes me curious. Its a steel hatch.. im sure adjusting for non max downforce may help? Dunno..I guess ill have to look into that..larger mounting pedestals would help w that.
