Default Need opinions for the mods for my z!

Hey Guys,

I currently own a 2003 350z Touring and am planning on giving it a bit of a make-over for the upcoming summer. (Exterior mods for now, engine mods will follow shortly) (Over 6 months in planning.)

I'm planning on doing something a little different and am worries about the flow of the entire car.

So I decided to ask the nice people on the 350z forums for some help.

Any opinions, critiques and suggestions are welcome. (Don't worry I wont get offended)

I'm pretty new to the scene so I apologize ahead of time if I have trouble understanding some technical aspects of the mods.

Without further ado lets get started:

The car is going to be wrapped in matte white by myself and a few friends so I tried my best to find example pictures of white 350z.

Front bumper:
Ing+1 N spec Front Bumper

Rear bumper:
A modified amuse Z34 bumper to fit on my Z
(I don't think anyone in my area has done this yet)

Looks much much nicer in real life.

Spoiler:
JKS Custom Spoiler

Side Skirts:
Either Greddy or JP Vizage type A (Opinions please!)

Greddy

JP Vizage

Wheels (If possible...)
Otherwise for the time being, stock will be painted black... fml

In reality I really wanted a similar bumper to the Amuse Z34 rear as I liked the spoiler + rear bumper combo very much. However, I know how shitty the visibility is in the rear view and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see anything. Any thoughts? Has anyone done this to their Z?

Like so:
Amuse Z34 Vestito Rear bumper/spoiler combo.

Extra:

Headlight housing: baked and housing interior will be blacked out with hid conversion (8K) and smd angel lights.

Tail lights: very slight tint to change to more of a crimson. (will have 2006 LED tail lights if possible.)

Rear view tint (20 ~ 35%?) and emblems will be changes to Fairlady Z as well as Nissan emblems to Z.

You have so many different parts shown that I can't picture them all together.

The rear bumper is an Amuse Vestito knock off made for the 350Z. I've seen Mike's car in person and the kit looks good. The picture you showed was before wheels and dump.

Side skirts the Greddy will be more understated and the JP will be too much going on.

I think the spoiler you may want to go with something other than a lip when you go that aggressive on the kit.

2 cents

Oh yeah HELL NO on the wheels. Save your money for at least some Enkeis in the $12-1500 a set range.

Exterior is pretty cool.
You get what you pay for.

And remember, fiberglass front bumpers will SUCK if you plan on ever being lowered.

Exterior parts are probably fine but those wheels are garbage.

Keep the body stock and use the money for some nice wheels first, your car will look so much better.

+1 in my opinion.
Body kits put a car to shame if you aren't lowered and sitting on the right shoes.
If I were you, personally, I'd buy a nice pair of wheels and coilovers before I spent money on a body kit.
A body kit with stock/ugly wheels, high offset, and stock ride height is.. well.. ugly in my opinion.. where as, nice wheels lowered on coilovers look good even without a body kit.

Then again, our taste seems to be very different. I'm more into nismo v2 or aerosync bumpers, with skirts/rear that are subtle. The front and rear bumper you picked out are over kill to me.

Just my two cents, others may not agree.. take it or leave it.
Good luck!

That front bumper is played the fawk out, Ive seen more Ings over the years than stock front ends. That rear bumper is ugly as fawk. Id rather stare at a vacuum pumped vagina getting drilled by some f@ggot with AIDS.

The side choices arent too bad but overall I find your taste, or lack there of offensive. You are super gaudy.

I agree with getting some wheels and coilovers before getting any bodykits, and some of those bumpers look a little too ricey for my taste, I do like those side skirts though but its just my opinon

lol berts response....offensive yet every word is the truth

all those choices are ugly IMO except the front bumper which is ok but id rather have stock with a lip.

but the real problem here is the fact that you cant think for yourself. Its one thing asking opinions on performance parts but cosmetic? really? you go on forums and ask people which pair of skinny jeans you should wear?

must be a kid, they cant think for themselves anymore. post your question on your facebook

not a huge fan of the front bumper...only been a couple cars that I thought pulled it off imo. think the nismo v3 front would be a better option.

sideskirts = jp vizage

Yes to the Amuse wing, if it blocks rear view, you will adapt to it
And besides, how much driving in reverse do you actually do?

NO, NO & NO to the Ninja wheels.

also agree you should go with a good set of wheels and coilovers before the body kit.

He stated that he was new to the scene, you can't blame him for wanting to get the opinions of others on what looks best.
Stereotyping him as a kid due to his desire to gain the insight of others is childish in itself, at most.

to pull this off you need

1) a big wing (Nismo V3 or a GT wing)

2) bigger aggressive rims (that ninja crap is weaksauce)

3) coilovers/camber kit (nice bodykit and huge wheel gap don't go well together) (i'm not saying to slam it either, just lower it slightly)

Personally I think lowering the car and getting wheels would be my first choice, but different strokes for different folks. You should do what you like!
