Nah, Im going to have to pass on any shades of orange lol. I really want a color that you can immediately tell is a custom color for a 350z. The solar orange Z ruined that for any shade of orange I think lol. Thats also why Im not set on that lambo blue I was thinking about. I've seen it in person and it looks amazing. NOTHING like the daytona blue. But my only worry is that the body guy cant mix it to look exactly like the lambo I saw lol. The one I saw was a murcielago. The color was cobalt blue I believe

Waiting on the insurance to take a look at a bent control arm. Hopefully it doesnt take up to much time. If all goes well I should get the car back within the next two weeks. And as for the paint, I'm def. ruling out the lambo blue. After I priced it the paint, clear, hardener, reducer and a quality clear will run me about 1200 in change. Its just out of my budget right now. So I'll most likely going with a slightly darker blue. Nothing to noticeable.

 

Insurance company should be coming this monday. Nothing new can be done on the car until then BUT! I did find a place that may be able to mix a pretty cool blue for me for a reasonable price. Here's some pics of the front

also what shop are you going to? good quality paint and color matching? I'm looking for a shop to repaint my front bumper..was hit twice when it was parked in NYC.....all cracked up now

 

^yea I did. The shop is located in Queens Ny. DR. Auto. My whole car is being repainted but they do great work. They fixed and painted my brothers quarter panel on his 370z in one day. It looks flawless.

I dont believe they have a site. When you show up it'll look like a regular repair shop but they have tons of crazy cars going in and out all the time lol. There was a wide body MIV supra that looked bad *** that was there the other day along with a nismo 370z.

All the panels are on the car. I'll get some pics today. The wheels just need to be aligned and then just prime and paint and I shall finally have my car back after 7 long months. A couple months sitting in a BS shop not getting worked on and about 2 months at this shop

lol...yea its been a long time. But Id rather have it here so I can check on it every now and then. Plus with the price they gave me to respray the whole car with a 3 stage pearl paint and all the body work I cant complain about the time lol. But that first shop....smh I would never go there again.

Got some pics but nothing worth posting lol. The wheels were off and I couldnt get far enough behind the car to take pics of both quarter panels on.

forgot to post some pics....cars going to have the final top layer of paint sprayed either this sat. or mon. So I should have the car by mid to end of next week....for sure this time lol. Here's a couple pics with the second layer of paint on. Parts of the car is sanded while others aren't in the pics.

Yea neither can I. The door jams are completed but I couldnt tell what they looked like b/c It was dark outside and the light inside wasn't working out to well. The car should be ready for pick up early next week though
