Default Do Luck Widebody.....again

Just thought I'd start a thread on my car since it'll be having some body work done. The car had a do luck wide body kit on it but then BAM! some ******* hit my car and drove off. So now I'll be posting pics of the long process on getting it back on the road. Thought I'd get some ideas and input from you guys this time around. I'll be painting it over to some shade of red but haven't decided yet. I also wanted to paint the wheels another color to compliment the new body color (I dont know exactly what that is yet lol). Here's some pics of how the car sits right now

And if anyone in the NY area has an extra set of OEM wheels or two 19 inch wheels they would like to let me borrow for like two days that would be great lol

Geez. How did they manage to destroy your driver side front and your passenger rear? Did they knock your car into something else?

Sorry to see this, man. Good luck and hope the insurance at least helps you out. I lost a ton of money because of my custom work and parts on the roadster.

Sub'ed for positive outcome.

Thanks guys. And yea I park on the street sometimes b/c I have a shared driveway. But a jeep actually clipped my quarter pannel while I was driving and I spun around and hit a wall (wasnt clear about that before sorry). He slowed down when I spun then just kept driving like a dick. I got the first 3 numbers on his license plate but my glasses flew off and I couldnt really see that far lol (go ahead laugh it up)

Yea I dont mind biting the bullet to buy the parts but I dont want to pay for that amount of labor again. The adjuster is coming on Monday to the body shop so I'll see whats up. And as for the wheels I can just get the barrel replaced I'm sure

I'd get a private adjuster to deal w the insurance company... with the yen so high those parts (wheels included) are ****ing expensive. I'd also want all new arms/hubs/suspension
given the impact.

^ How do you get a private adjuster? Is it something you were supposed to do when you called your insurance? They already scheduled an appointment for Monday morning

ohboy. it sounds like you've not really dealt w/ this before.

you don't have to accept the number that the insurer gives you.

especially if you feel like the cost to repair is going to be higher
than the money you're offered. look up private claims adjuster
in your area and find someone that is licensed and communicates
well. that person will deal with your insurer directly to maximize
your claim.

remember, the insurer is out to adjust the lowest possible value
on your car. they run a business, every extra dollar they spend
comes out of their bottom line.

protect yourself and your investment.
