Default Headlight condensation damage by dealer

Hey guys I was hoping someone can provide me with guidance on an issue:

I took my car in for service over the weekend (oil change and multipoint inspection). I drove the car back and noticed condensation in the passenger side headlight. This was NEVER an issue. I noticed that they had "inspected" the headlights so my mind is wandering on what they could have possible done to mess up my headlight.

Anyways, I called the service manager and complained. He said "this is normal,I have GTR's come in all the time for this issue....some even 2013".

This doesn't seem "normal" to me. Any thoughts??

Well, the condensation is common and a well documented issue with the headlights. Seems odd that it started right after they "inspected" the headlights. I'd have to believe though, an inspection is just that...visual in nature. May just be an unfortunate coincidence. Hard to say though.

Sounds like it's time to mod or upgrade your headlight!

The dealer put water inside the headlights? And just how did he do this?

Yeah it's really unfortunate. I guess I'm going to have to try one of the solutions posted on the forums. Thanks guys!

they probably open the back the cover...letting humidity inside...should clear out within a few days.

if it's condensation that's not too bad. if it's a puddle of water, then that's a different story.
