Default Paint time, paint here!

Ok, so its time to get a paint job and I`m sure we`ve all been there.....I can freaking decide....Its a decision you have to live with unless you have a river flowing with money..... I looked at the custom color thread but, well i didnt really see much....

Colors I like and thinking about:
Silver/charcoal metallic or similar
That dark purple that looks burnt orange at some angles.
Dark red, or like a blood red?

Open to ideas with pic

Colors I for sure dont want:
Red
Dayton blue or any bright blue
Any bright/ colors like lime green, yellow etc.

I`m open to ideas and would love to see some Z`s with similar colors that I`m interested in.

I have varrstoens that are hyper black to give you an idea of my rim color

Why not wrap it in flat black? Cheaper than paint and can always go back to the original color?

The root beer looks ok....

Been looking at colors and also considering a dark red, metallic kinda.

But flat black is a no go.

brickyard looks good imo but dont want to go that route, and a carbon silver is nice but too light, if i go a silverish color, I want a darkish silver, or like a charcoal with a rainbow flake.

Any pics of a 350z with that dark bloodred/pearl or metallic?

Not sure how dark of a red you're after, but I had these pics on my hard drive.

Or you could spend the money on wheels and leave the paint alone. It'll look way better.

I`m guessing thats a bashing joke on the varrsteons?

anyways, found this

something almost like this but not blue

or imagine this but without the, wavy looking texture

I get so worked up when making huge decision changes like this that takes lots of $$$.

IMO paint job is the last mod you want to do when you have full visualization/theme of your car. Like already suggested, get some wheels or body kits first and see where you are heading to. Look for alternative ways such as vinyl wrap which aren't permanent if you aren't sure which color you want to go with.

i se your point in the body kit etc, but like i said for the third time now, I have 2.2.2 varrsteons....I have wheels already. I`ll either get the v3 bumper, just get the v1 with lip etc.....no skirts, maybe the chargespeed clip on looking things, rear diffuser, and v3 wing or lip spoiler with all `front, sides, rear lips` will be black.....so i have a pretty good idea of what i want....i just need to find the front bumper mainly right now before paint.....I want a very clean aggressive/simple look

think the color you are trying to describe as dark purple (interlagos fire) and burnt orange (lemans sunset).

Dark purple!
Just saying. A paint job doesn't make a car faster, but it is very appealing.
If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have gotten a body kit at all.
Gotta pay to play. My V2 bumper got ruined in weeks.
