The darker gray is a winner. This is one hot color on the Z.Gives the Z great definition.
Good to see some examples being posted.I would not have much metallic in the paint.
It cheapens the color.

having metallic makes it cheaper????

what about pearl or something in that area.... I mainly want a "charcoal silver" if you will with some flakes that when hit right, makes it bright if that makes sence

Legitimate question.
This can easily be a $30 rattle can job to a $8000 baller job.

Thread is a complete waste of time unless OP has a budget of at least $3.5K or more

Exactly, 3.5 for repaint of the same color. Twice that for a color change. And that's just starting prices.

I'm on my phone so I can't really see it too well, but that might be the 40th anniversary color.

I had a color change done and I love it. I went with interlagos fire (L40) and I love it. I'd post the link to my thread in the media share/photo section butlike I said, I'm on my phone.

Do you mind giving a ballpark for what you paid, I think it would help to prevent the future dreamer threads (like I'm afraid this one probably is)

I thought already broke it down, maybe it didnt post....And no i dont have 3.5k for a `stock repaint`. Wherever your going, holy hell thats alot. I`m not going to a `one of a kind` shop where duggy fresh is painting ir for me.

my current color is daytona blue.

And the color I`m really really wanting to consider it the Medium Charcoal Grey:

heres my car

I plan on getting the 699 with a couple other stuff included so it`ll be just about a few hundred more......

I`m not a baller and i can always go get my own color from there warehouse. I got a sick pearl green for my 240sx years back for 300 bucks(just paint). So i dont see where this 5k budget is coming from...Unless people think the everyday person that gets a paint job get the work``where they strip your car down bare inside/out and then paint....I`m not going to park this in my garage year around and only carshow it....I dd this and its only commen sense to get a good but not super expensive paint job that cost more then half what the car is worth....`dumb`....I`m not a dreamer thank you.
I`m roughly getting 2-3k from my insurance to fix my scratches and get a new front bumper. 400 for bumper, 700 for paint job, 500 for fitting of front bumper and painting door jams and also see how much the engine bay would be, which I`m sure will be a lil bit too. Roughly 1600 without painting engine bay....
here is where I`m going, a local shop is around me: http://www.miracleautochico.com/packages/

comes with 2-5 years of warrenty...seems like a deal for a dd....

It's hard to tell but if I had to guess I would think it was a product from house of kolor called Kosmic Krome. It's usually sprayed over black and comes out like a grey tented mirror.
