Default MIMOUSA CF Dash Kit?

Ready to pull trigger on this, but hesitant due to their $hitty customer response rate, and fact that dash kit is so much less than EVO R counterpart....any word on this?

Most feedback you get on these "dash kits" are from guys that don't have one, never seen one IN PERSON.I have one,so I can give you honest input on the deal.
First,I'm not familiar with the kits from MIMOUSA.Most of these kits are the same.
They use a CAD system to plot&cut out pieces of carbon fiber veneer covered with a
durable poly finish. The quality may vary between vendors.Although,I do know that
many are made/cut in NJ.The kit you are looking at is not a FULL kit.A full kit has over 30 pieces...runs around $350.
All I can tell you is I've had my kit in my car for about 3yrs.It looks brand new.
These kits look much better in person...do not photograph well.
Check my vehicle pics...
I bought my kit through CARID.Takes about 2 weeks to get.
The comparison to the EVO-R stuff does not make sense.
Dash kit pieces are for flat,2-D surfaces.Any curved parts need a molded part.
I've done my interior in CF,so some parts are molded.

Again, its a matter of taste and, dollars and ease of installing.
I can honestly say that EVERYONE that has seen my interior makes
a "wow" comment.
The negatives from guys that diss these kits are really no different than an opinion
on replica wheels, body kits, exhaust systems.Everyone thinks you gotta have the brand
name to have the best.In alot of cases, not so.
PM if you need any other info.

i ahve mimo usa and used it for the spare smaller pieces...(the evor stuff is a molded kit, apples to oranges,) and now so does Stefan... (e30carbio).. they arent bad at all but plz know that the new material manufacturer they use creates real cf that is alsmot purely black like piano gloss. Doesnt match up- real well in my case, oh well.

heres the MIMOUSA real cf:

and heres the evo r product:

@JCITY, I have an 05 so the MT 19 piece will be sufficient for now- thx for feedback, h8rs abound w/o reference for sure I was gathering clearly.
@Bmccann LOL, I almost pm'd you last night!
And thanks guys for the heads up, every retailer on ebay just orders from mimo and jacks price up so I figured best to go w original manufacturer anyways..I will def be having my sugar momma buy this for my bday.

I regretfully spent to much on that product and I've met others that have purchased interior pieces like this in person and have had the same complaint. Fitments are crap.

maybe it wasnt 6 months,... but I will tell you that that purchase was painful.

OP,... your better off doing a wrap.

Yes..tony/ tonester is the way yo go...
But as for folks who can't afford that at the moment, evo r can fit ok but u just can't use the tape man..silicone adhesive..there's no room.for that tape.

Yes the shifter cover sucks... but the rest will fit fine w silicone.. I posted in ur other thread too..take my advice man.. ul appreciate the result.

Rsw is made in japan and twice the price of evo r..and will still not fit if you use the tape..u have to glue it..and silicone is a very good user friendly way to do so.

but of course.... it was the adhesive tape..... (Sarcasm) because i didnt try see if it fit WITHOUT the tape. Gee, I never thought of that

Op.... if you buy a kit and it actually fits like its suppose to, you'll get no hate from me.

but +1 on the RSW from Japan, Ive never heard anything negative on it, but....$$$$$$ !!
