Default Dry Carbon Fiber Nismo V3 Body Kit

Hi everyone, I've recently picked up a 2008 nismo 350z(#960) and couldn't be more pleased but modding it has already been on my mind, which leads me to my question.
I have a connection with a manufacturer who specializes in dry carbon fiber products ranging from briefcases, to bikes and some car parts. I've considered stripping my hood, and body kit including the spoiler to create dry carbon versions but I want to know if anyone else would be interested in this if I were to do it. I have their dry carbon mirror covers on my car and I can tell that the quality is good and the fitment is perfect(I will post pictures of my car when I get a chance to clean it). I have also visited the factory myself and have seen the machinery used to make the parts and am very confident in the quality that they produce.
Would anyone be interested in this project?

A v3 kit that can't be fixed w very little impact resistance?

Maybe just a spoiler?

How about other dry carbon parts that people would buy instead of doing a factory kit? Wing would be cool to start. Maybe hood/fenders/diffuser?

Thx for showing interest. This is not another "dream" thread, I am very serious about this project, its just that price wise it would be only worth it if I have enough interest because making the mould is not cheap. So basically, I can make it happen as long as I have potential buyers, then I will contact the factory to get a price quote to share with all of you. So far are most of you only interested in the spoiler?

graffkid what other parts were you thinking? The reason I suggested the nismo v3 is simply because I have the parts ready to ship back to make dry cf versions..unless someone is willing to lend me other parts that they have then it will work, and obviously we can work something out for the inconvenience.

Why not disclose the name of the company? If they are so good then post up pictures of the works that they've done. Who is your friend and what is his position at this suppose company.

Why not start of with center console parts. That would garner more interests.

He owns a factory in Taiwan that specializes only in dry carbon and kevlar products. Their items for aftermarket car parts are limited and I do have the mirror covers installed. Like I said, I would post pictures up of them on my car when I get a chance to clean it. Typically the products that they make include bike frames, bow cases for instruments/instrument cases, and brief cases. I attached pictures but I realize they are kind of small... I got it from their website.

What is the website name?

They are only mirrors. They don't take long to clean.

Do you on a Z?

I have other businesses involved with this factory so I wouldn't be comfortable disclosing this information as of right now. Initially, I met with this company to do other businesses not relating to car parts, however when I visited the factory I realized that it is very plausible for them to make dry carbon fiber car parts as well, which sparked an interest and brought me here.

And I know that they are only mirrors but if I'm going to take pictures of my car why not just clean the whole thing? And yes I do own a Z, if you read the very first sentence of my post "I've recently picked up a 2008 Nismo 350z..."

I hope you are asking all these questions because you are actually considering the parts and want to know more about it not because you are trying to troll. I am simply just sharing an idea and want to see if other members would be interested in it. I am willing to answer all questions in relation to the part itself but I am not going to share the company name as of this moment. There is nothing to be skeptical about, its not like I am asking for money to be put down this instant, so take it easy.

I'd be down for a larger upper blade on the Nismo V3 spoiler.

Same here...

I called it a dreamer thread cause we've seen this before. I suggest small parts to keep price down along with seeing an end product sooner.

DRY CARBON isn't cheap!

a BUMPER alone would be 2-3k

Be advised, you need to be a vendor to ask for pricing or trying to sell this on the forum, I would suggest you get your friend to actually make the products and become a forum sponsor.

I almost bet if the fitment is good and the material quality is there you will definitely have a market to sell it in on the forum

V3 carbon sides would also be a nice option for those who want a subtle side skirt that mixes well with other lips.

^+1000. Maybe if people see them in CF they'll realize how different K11 and carbon look...

Waizzz I have PM'd you in regards to getting vendor status. In the meantime I will contact my manufacturer to get a price quote to give you guys an idea of how much each part will cost.
It would be really helpful if everyone who is interested can post what part they are interested in so I can get an idea of what parts to make first. Here are the parts I am thinking of making dry carbon versions for: 1) Nismo Hood 2) Front Bumper 3) Side Skirts 4) Rear Bumper including spoiler

I'd hold on the rear bumper.. it's not as popular as the rest of the V3 is.
