Just buckle your seat belt. That should take care of the problem.

Stick something into the hole where the seat-belt should plug into... Would that do the trick lol? Just a guess...

HAHA. Guess I should have anticipated the smarta$$ answers.

Off course I drive with the seatbelt on.

But I live in an estate where it's about half a mile to the exit gate from my garage, with lots of spead bumps and doing speeds of around 30km/h.

Also at work, the seatbelt is restrictive when tryng to scan your access card at the boom gates etc. And then trolling around the basement parking for 15 minutes looking for parking, it's pretty annoying to have to have your belt on all the time.

I've actually contemplated buying a seatbelt from a junkyard and cutting out the piece theat clips into the buckle. Keep it loose in the car and use it when I need to. Seems to be a possible solution, but disabling the stupid chime would be first prize.

.

isn't this the reason why you would WANT to put on a seat belt?

what if you had to dodge a Gazelle ?

Rather than disabling the chime just fasten the seat belt and sit on top of it.

+1 on keeping it on in case of a Gazelle, those are some sneaky bastards!
