Thumbs up Need to replace 2003 350z ballast?

My left headlight ballast is not working according to the dealership and they wanted me to order one from them for close to $400. I thought that was waaay to much for a ballast so i looked online and can only find OEM Infiniti G35 Coupe ballasts. Will this ballast fit and work the same way a 350z one would? I just wanted to get more than one answer before ordering them. Most people I have asked so far don't know or weren't certain but I assumed someone here would know through experience or something.

Thanks!

Also, they should be interchangeable.

Default Help with 03 350z headlights

I know I have to replace a ballast but also the little orange light that goes on with the headlights doesn't go on. Could this be because I have to replace the ballast? Because even though my ballast is messed up the headlight goes on but just flickers sometimes, but this little orange light (sorry I don't know what it's called) doesn't go on at all on that side. So my question is, is this the ballast or should I buy a new one of those orange lights, and if so what are they actually called.

Sorry for being stupid and thanks! haha

Wow, how stupid am I? Ok it's a parking light but still have the question about whether it's the ballast or the bulb?

Default Headlight Questions

I have a 2003 350z touring and i just got a new ballast put in the left headlight and all new parking breaks. The only problem is that the orange strip on the very edge of the headlight only lights up on one side. Is that the front side marker? if so, what size bulb does it take, and how would you install it? would it be easier to install than the parking light?

The parking light is the white like that is turned on in the picture. so a 194 bulb will work? And any info on how to install it?

Ohh nevermind, sorry i'm really dumb haha i just ordered two sets of white led's from ebay for like 2 bucks each. I'm gonna use one pair for the reflectors and one for the license plate. How do you install the one on the reflectors? Do you just take the fender wall off and reach up and find the right bulb?

Default Can someone point me in the right direction on how to install these lights?

I want to install the front side markers by myself and I'm sure I don't have to remove the tire but i know I need to remove the fender wall. does that sound right? Then I find the reflector bulb and just swap it? Is that right?

Thanks.

p.s. if there's a guide somewhere, please link it to me

if youre talking about the reflectors like these:

you can take out enough bolts/clips in the fender wall and reach in there to undo the 2 bolts and push on the reflectors from the front and it should pop out. I cant remember if there phillips head or 10mm but you can do it without taking everything off. Probably take the same amount of time to take it all apart, or you can cut up your hands and be frusterated like I did

For any of the headlight bulbs, I think its the same concept, just keep taking out bolts/clips until you can reach, probably easier without the wheel.

It's kinda like that except I'm just trying to replace the bulb behind the amber strip that is in my headlight

Default Will white LED's look alright behind the amber strip of a 2003 350z?

This is the last post regarding this, I swear Anyway I ordered cheap LED's on ebay without even thinking that they are going to be white lights behind an amber strip. Will that look right or should I order amber lights?
