Okay, so I know everybody says it's pointless to paint the 03 headlights due to the reflective surface. But I'd rather try it out than spend the $$ on 06+ What if when i painted them, I left both the dim and hi beam chrome? Would that help ensure a minimum loss of light output? If anybody has done this to the 93-05 lights, please post a picture.

I don't know if it's me but it seems lately there are many members on here, both new and old, that just don't understand how to think for themselves.

OP, listen to bmccann101. If you typed in "03 350z painted headlight" into , you would find a pic. I did and found 8 of the first 15 images with your needs.

My suggestion, keep saving and go for the '06+ bi-xenons. You'll be glad you did. /thread
