Nismo V2 Front Bumper Emblem - to shave or not to shave
I'm having my v2 bumper painted this week and am currently debating if I should use the factory emblem with it or have the space filled for the clean debadged look. I'm currently leaning towards going with the latter option. I'm not going to have canards on it so I'm thinking I should continue in the clean, smooth direction.
I've been told that sometimes the filled in area can be visible under certain conditions, specifically on a hot day when the car has been outside in the sun. Im not too concerned about this but is there any other not so common knowledge like this or opinions that can help in the decision making?

IMO,shaved looks too plain.
My choice would be to black your current badge or,install a black pearl Z.
Better yet(I have one)since you have a black car,a CF Z emblem.
Has a CF ring, brushed aluminum accent&Z.Would really finish the look.
I'd also put a duplicate CF emblem in the rear. The Z STORE carries them.

And to answer the earlier question I still have the rear emblem.

I actually have a san marino blue car. I definitely agree with the front end looking a little plain completely shaved. What's keeping the emblem option in my mind is the small splash of silver to add some contrast in the front. Fck cant make up my mind

and silver Z.65 BUCKS AT THE Z STORE.
Change your Nissan emblem in the back to a brushed silver Z to match
the 350Z unless you have removed it.

IMO the car has to look really aggressive to pull off the shaved look. Otherwise a shaved bumper on an otherwise tame-ish car just makes it look generic or something. I'm not really verbalizing this opinion very well....but it's a gut feeling and preference I guess.
I like the idea of going with a stock Nissan emblem but in a darker color, like a dark silver or black chrome type color. It would match your wheels too.
