Default VeilSide V3 Kit Opinions

ok so what do you think about the veilside 3 body kit, with fneder flares.
do you all think its pure rice? i mean the Z has enough power to back up a big wing, or a wide body kit.
i really like the kit, im planing on buy a veilside 3 body kit, but have it as clean as posible. so if you guys dont mind, plz give me your opinions.

If you're going to do it, you need to have the right wheel fitment and I like it minus the wing

Wow that actually looks pretty sweet. This and bmccann101's car are one of the few that actually pull it off nicely.

thanks for putting my car as example, but yes this kit can be done right, and the key to it is moldingthe fender flares and the right wheel setup, if you are not doing that, just walk away. and dont do a crazy wing. This is my final setup before my 2013 v4.0 build.

I've never liked the side skirts, but the front and rear are OK.
Also IMO the guy in the UK with the black V3 (on Volk SF Challenges if I remember correctly) was pulling off the kit nicely as well.

nice job, in my opinion i love the paint job, and body kit, i dont like the stickers and all that unnecessary stuff, when i said a vs3 body kit but clean i meant that i woulnt put stickers, or lights or stuff like that all over the car. but that is just my opinion.
also i think that a bigger wing would make the car look more aggressive plus your car looks idk "fat" without a wing.
I REALLY LOVE THE FITMENT OF THE WHEELS.

and if is not too much too ask i would like to ask you a question.
would i need to cut the stock (rear) fenders in order to make the fender flares and wheels fit and look right?

this is what im looking to do to my Z, a black Z with a VS3 kit looks just awesome, as i said before to the guy with the green Z i really would consider putting a wing with this kit, in my opinion i think that the Z will look really aggressive with the wing, i mean it has enough power to back up that wing, is not like is a honda with a huge wing, that will just dont make since, but its a Z.

how hard was to get the body kit installed?

haha od course man, ill build my own lol, im just trying to get some ideas and opinions, ill be doing all the work myself, so thats why im asking about the fenders and the wheels fitment, the rest of the job like fiberglass, paint job and all that stuff is the easy part of the project, i been working on cars since i was 16, so i have a lil of experience.

i really like your car, specially the black color, the body kit and the fact that it looks clean even with a widebody on it, nice job

oh must i mention that the differences between the authentic VS and ANY VS replica are unbelievably vast? Ask me how I know lol.
Do NOT buy replica parts if you want this kit, mark my words deeply.
For a seemingly simple install, its quite a jogsaw puzzle.. believe me.. there is NO way to make a knock off look and fit properly.

Ok tell me about it, how hard would be to install a replica, I mean is just a body kit like any other car body kit but this one has fender flares, in any car if the kit doesn't fit right which almost never will fit right you only need to work a lil with fiber glass etc and it will come out good, what makes it soo complicated to install this kit on a Z.

This is true.. but the one I got from.Vis had totally weird arch circumferences on.the fr fenders...the headlight notch was way off... it seriously made me wonder if it was EVER molded from.the original..
The authentic is cad drilled and takes zero body work..just surface prep. The end result is noticeably different on auth.. sounds like ur going replica

Tell us how it goes

Just trying to save u the headache.

The rear around the taillight notch was not even close..were not talking gaps here n there..were talking fully wrong dimensions..
I got hooked way up and paid 650 for sides..650 fenders, got a sponsored rear for free and a used auth front for 450.. worth every penny.

Well yeah to be honest I was or I'm going replica, in my experience I have done like about 20 differnt body kits, but have never done a widebody kit, all the body kits I have done were replicas, and yeah they didn't fit perfectly but nothing crazy, some work here and there and thats it, the last body kit I brought for my celica I paid $200for the entire body kit, and in this case I didn't haver to use fiber glass at all, it was just perfect, And is a veilside body kit.
