Default Rear make over

Recently added:

*INGS knock off valence
*OEM knock off Spoiler
*Emblems
*Tinted tail lights
*Shorty Antena
*Prokit rear Springs (took off Nismos) for 1/2" more drop
*Tinted windows

Thinking about debadging..but rear is faded and there could be a *shadow* there?

I liked the before pic much better. I've always thought the plastic badges and tinting just look cheap and ricey. But I guess I'm trolling now. To each his own. Congrats on the mods.

yank emblems and fill holes. Paint doesnt cost that much. Easy to blend reds too.

The Ings front is *ok*...just not 100% sold on it since it still looks *slapped on*. It MUST be Urethane for me (as is INGS knock off), so the only other one is Vizage S type, which looks good, but I'm afraid of hitting it, since it protrudes farther.

Well, you are on the right track.I think you have done a pretty good job with your car!
I'd suggest pinting the 350Z emblem black or,black pearl/chrome.Also,the center emblem
if you don't want to remove(got to fill holes),tone it down with a brushed silver CF emblem. The tint on your tails IMO is too dark.It needs to be "smoke " like your BU lights.
I like the INGS rear. However,it gives the car a "bustle " effect. To minimize this I'd suggest a CF license plate surround.I like your conservative approach.I'm not a fan of the OEM rear spoiler.Check out a Blitz. It was MADE for the Z.

Ings or nothing... The rear is so round. The Visage is so square. Your car isn't so terribly low... You will know what to do.

Chris

There are some ohters. but I think a full ings would look awesome.

Nice progress, just not a fan of tinting the rear lights

I would have to +1 what Chris said, the Ings+1 LX front and sides will not hang very much lower than stock if you plan on keeping the car at it's current height, you can just learn to angle or avoid certain low driveways

I think it looks sick bro.

If you like it, then keep it. Opinions and fads change everyday. I remember a time on this forum that the badges and dark tails were the "in" thing to do.

Personally, and this is my OPINION. I don't like how dark the tails are. But the contrast with the red is really cool. Also, I like the rear diffuser, I think it looks really good.

All in all 10/10 just the way it is.

the INgs FE lip will be easier to drive with.
Id highly reccomend NOT two toning your car. Easiest way to ruin it.
With that said, yank the tail n turn tint off, and remove all emblems, replace the center one w the dark gunmetal one and call it a day.
50 dollars for material off ebay.. wrap your roof metalic gloss black.. really makes a VERY noticeable diference in how long and low and stretched the car looks by extendeing that hatch glass look over the top of the car.. Super easy DIY.

the parts that usually scrub when entering a steep driveway ar the lips outter wings for lack of a better word.
I think the full ings kit w the side skirts are THE best way to alter the stock lines of the car while staying nearly 100% w the overall design theme of the car.. period. Always have. Looks good raced out, hellaflushed, etc etc.. just looks good. Black out the ambers up front and its good to go.

IM just happy that the thread is about a car.. i was initially looking for the NSFW tag expecting to see a story about inappropriate male bleaching or worse....a prolapse surgery lol. Ew. lol.

I hear ya on the tints..going lighter. I don't want this to look like a *kit car*...so I'm prolly going to leave the front and sides stock. It's very tempting to go for the whole enchalada on the INGS kit...but I don't think you need to do so. The REAR looks *unfinished* and doesn't flow with the lines of the car. The front and sides look pretty good stock. That's why I went to rear.

This is why I don't want the INGS lip....it's obvious in this pick. Side skirts look fine though.

My car:

As far as the other things..just want to keep it simple...and as close to stock as I can.

Thanks..
Appreciate it. I ordered the wrong tints...the vendor had *20%* and *35%*..so I assumed *20%* was lighter..WRONG! I put em on anyway to see what it looked like. TOO FOKIN' DARK! Just ordered lighter tint.
