Question Rear lip spoiler

Hey,

I'm looking for a nice gift for my boyfriend's 350Z
I heard him talk about a rear spoiler and I was wondering if anyone knows a secure and nice place to buy it on the internet or not.

I'm looking for this one but in blue color! To make sure you know which part I'm looking for, its the one on the bumper close to the window.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

The lip spoiler in the photo looks similar to the OEM lip spoiler.
It does appear a bit longer. This spoiler is available from many sources
including Nissan dealers(don't buy there!).If you are looking for this
type of spoiler,CARid.com is a good source. They also offer their spoilers
pre-painted in factory colors. You need to know the paint code(Daytona
Blue?)Or,their website may list the color by name with corresponding paint code.
This spoiler is very conservative.Perhaps you want something a bit more agressive?
I'd suggest a Blitz type spoiler. The design was made for the Z.

that spoiler looks like the VIZAGE TYPE B spoiler.

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id=13016

they don't come painted so you'd have to take it to a shop to get it painted.

That wing/rear spoiler is a Vizage Wing or Blitz. You should contact member Rickdogg to confirm on this forum and maybe he can tell you where he got his spoiler from. He's a pretty chill and cool guy.

from this angle it looks to be Vizage. being it looks like they sponsored the vehicle that would be my bet.

A cheaper alternative, and I think a great alternative is buying the blitz replica spoiler from the Z store. It doesn't require drilling, only tape which it comes with, just in case your boyfriend has second thought about it. Here is the link

Full FRP:

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PR...z02a03/50-1878

Half FRP / Half Carbon Fiber:

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PR...z02a03/50-1879

I love mine, it has great fitment and I think it is one of the best looking lip spoilers out there, as well as doesn't cost a fortune. My girlfriend actually bought me mine for Christmas.

They said it was going to take 4-6 weeks but arrived in 2 weeks just in case your interested.

The "Blitz" spoiler sold by the Z Store is actually made by EVO-R.
If you want to buy it pre-painted,you'll have to order from EVO-R's
e-bay site,hyper_rev_motors.
I've got one(50% CF).Ordered pre-painted.Color match was perfect.
I agree, its the best looking low profile spoiler wing for the Z.Looks
like it came on the car.The OEM spoiler loks like a add-on afterthought.
Its too small.

Yea but Evo-R has horrendous customer service, that is why I bought it from the Z Store. I wanted to originally buy it from Evo-R but they never got back to me so I said screw it.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm really looking for the small one, that's what he talked to me about.

Thanks for the tips too. But still to big for the one I'm looking for.
It's really the smallest one you can find, nothing agressive for the eyes.
Thanks for telling me it's taking a long time to come, I'll order it as soon as I can!

If mine is too big for you (stay out dirty minds) then I think the best option is to go with the Nissan OEM.

In my opinion, my spoiler looks perfect on a stock car. It is subtle but at the same time you know it's not stock.

Good luck!!

Well for the price of the spoiler you can get Nismo mats and a Nismo shift ****. I guess the mats and **** are a safer bet.

He told me about a splitter ? Like a big plate that goes under the car..

That's expensive too but I would be sure of the gift!

Does he race his car on the track or anything or is it just a road car?

Also, what is your price range for this gift?

To be totally honest if he just mentioned a splitter without the words "buy me this," I wouldn't get one. Listen I am sure I am not the only guy that talks so much about cars in front of my girl. If my girl listened to me and bought all the things i "want" I would have a 1,000hp 350Z

That being said, I think the spoiler would be an awesome gift.

Not sure exactly what he already has, but since you said he already has a shift **** and mats, these are the things I would love as a gift for my Z (these are reasonably priced items)

1. Spoiler
2. Car cover
3. Wheel spacers
4. Various carbon fiber pieces such as interior door handles and such (if he likes carbon fiber)

Am I just crazy guys or am I onto something here?
