Recommendation: Dashmat Ltd. Edition for 350z
Just wanted to give a positive recommendation to this product. I haven't seen any discussion anywhere for a 350z dash cover.
I needed something to cut back on dashboard glare from the south texas sun, and considered a regular Dashmat. I've used them in other cars, but didn't like the idea of carpet up in my face anymore. I gave the Ltd. Edition from Dashmat a try and it really enhances the look of the 350z interior. The technical weave really compliments the textured panels of the 350 and the black color matches the floor and trunk mats perfectly. It also helps damped interior noise that the hard surfaces in the car perpetuate.
I bought mine for $40 + shipping from an online retailer, not directly from DashMat since it costs more from them. The only drawback is that only a very stingy amount of velcro is provided, and it hardly had any tack. I spent another $4 at walmart buying a velco pack.
I'll post pics when lighting conditions are better.

You can attach the velcro wherever you want to - just cut little squares and put them where needed. The velcro that came with it was pretty weak so i bought some 3M velcro at wal mart that holds it down better. Once its down its pretty solid but you can peel it back off without damage if you want to. I mostly put pieces of velcro at any kind of corner, plus a few in random places to keep it snug.

Not really - wanted to soften up the interior a bit and also to provide a little extra sound insulation - i was having a sound leak from the engine into the cabin from the area between the dashboard and windshield, and this solves that.

I hope this looks better in person.
Putting some stuff on your dash that looks like
it was made from pot holder material makes me
think of the phrase,"what were they thinking"?
A bobble-head character mounted on the dash
would go well with this cover.

if you're really concerned about sound insulation shoulda went with dynamat or something similar to it. this just looks like you cut out some black carpet from home depot and slapped it on your dash.
and from the look of things, it looks like you are using armor-all on the dash(this is where your glare is coming from), if not you can ignore this. but why would you want to put that greasy **** on your car anyways? **** dont look good shiny. just clean with a wet microfiber towel for a factory dull finish. that should help with a lot of glare lol. and the sun is the sun, no matter where you live, i'm in GA with no problems.
uhhh looked at the pictures again and confirmed that you use some sort of armor all, yeah fix that and no glare. i wouldn't even want to sit in your car, for the fear of touching something greasy and slimy.

+! ^ lol.
thats the first thing i thought too.. this guy LOVES the armoral.
40 bucks for a yard of decent synthsuede,.. a few hours and a can of 3m super 90 glue:
just sayin..these parts either pull off or have maybe 2 easily navigated screws to remove.. and no upside down under dash is necessary. The dash bottoms are the hardest parts too. IF a guy only wanted to do the tops.. its cake.. just get creative behind the gauge pod.
Not trying to pic ***** or go OT, just saying theres an alternative to dash mats.. Waizz.. ahem.

bmccann, I love the suede dash. was gonna recommend it to the OP as a way to cut down on glare, but didn't want to come off as rude. I didn't realize you did it yourself, figured it had been done by a shop because of how professional it looks. With how easy you make it sound, I may have to do it (well, try at least!). Love it, I may be contacting you soon with questions on it haha.
