Default Carbon Fiber hydro dipping

Anyone done this? I saw on another thread a dude posting about getting his exterior door handles done in this so I did a little research for places around here that do that and found a place in KC that does it. Here's what they quoted me.

$130 for the center console
$60 for the interior door handles
$90 for the exterior door handles
$30 for the metal trim on the steering wheel
$100 for the mirror covers

so $410 total for all of that. Sounds like a great deal. I'll probably start with just the center console, interior door handles and steering wheel trim and then go from there.

Might be a cheaper to wrap it in vinyl DIY style then have automotive clear coat sprayed over it.

^and will look better since the texture is 3d.

I haven't seen a hydro dipped cf black twill that looked legit. Some of the off colors like silver look good but the blacks look cheap and is totally fake looking.
