Default Seat base thread fell out

So I was installing my seat tonight (sparco evo2plus) and when I went to bolt up the base to the floor the left rear thread that sits in the floor of the car fell out.. WTF? I didn't even think that would ever happen.

Anyways, anyone know a way to retrieve the thread and put it back in or how hard it is to rethread something like that?

As of right now I have the other 3 and the entire seat bolted in just fine it's just now that thread is missing so the seat moves around.

Thanks!

you should be able to buy the threaded insert. if you know the size of the thread from the bolt heli-coil makes threaded inserts and can be bought at any auto parts store.

Sorry if it was confusing. When you bolt the base of the seat on, you bolt it into the floor. The thread the bolt goes into fell out.

Thats what i thought, it should resemble a nut welded into the sheet metal from the backside. Some of them are fully inclosed, some have an open back.

There will be a big difference on what you do, did they threads just strip out or the nut break free from the tack weld that held it in place.

I'm just getting a new thread welded in place most likely.
