It's possible another Z owner took it or just an ******* with a retard gene that likes your car but can't afford it so he takes the antenna and yells haha like the kid on the Simpsons then gets home and his dad takes it and whips him with it (insert haha here).

I've tried a few antenna's and the OEM works best. Some porno antenna study said you need at least 7" for good reception. Thus, the reason the shorty antennas are now on the roof (or trunk for Roadsters) instead of the side and now the 7" ones on Ford and a couple other models. Even though there are only a few different ones rebadged for all the car brands, I would still rather buy a Nissan antenna for A Nissan. Juke or Murrano should work. I think Sentra is different as well as versions with satelite radio. The Honda/Acura base flares out too much. The 2" antenna looks cool but only strong stations work and it leavs a gap. You can use some locktite on the new one but car washes like to take them off, even rubber flexible ones. I think the Ford one may look cool (and work well) since it looks like a 1/2 sized replica but it's not a Nissan part.

If you need a radio, you could always just do the antenna delete mod and get a sirius FM radio. Otherwise, you could just keep CD's in your car, or play music off your phone w/ a new headunit.

My friends mess around and they'll take off my antenna or put up my windshield wipers (we're in highschool) but they always at least give me the antenna back.

Sorry to hear man. Like people have already said, it happens quite often. I put blue locktite on mine to keep the thieves at bay.
