Hello Guys, I have a question about the VIS Racing Techno R Front Lip. On Andysautosports site This lip claims to fit 03-08, But I know that the front bumper changes in 06 (My Year Z). I like the look and price of this Lip, But I dont want to buy it and find out it doesnt actually fit my car. I guess I should call them up and ask? or do you guys know anything. Thanks.

 

The picture is of an 03-05 so I'm gonna say it wont fit.

 

Isn't that a copy of the nismo lip. I'm sure you can find another nismo replica from another company that will fit the newer model Zs.

I personally love this lip and looked into buying the real 1 from nissan but they discontinued it. I would say the next best thing is the veilside, which you could get a replica from evo-r for a good price. I heard the fitment is excellent.

 

The Veilside Replica's are my personal favorite! If I can find a good deal on one of those id get one.. Any links to one?

I heard the lip is great but there customer service is aweful. My spoiler and carbon fiber interior door inserts are from evo-r and are great quality, but I bought them from thezstore since they have great service, although I dont think they carry this lip.

 

Also, if you do buy it from them, get it unpainted and bring it to your shop. I heard the place they use does a crappy job and fades and chips easily

 

$440 PLUS $120 for shipping? Ouch..... I Dont see a price for unpainted. I think ill shoot them an email on that.

 

That's what kept me from buying it.

I actually live about a half hour from them and they said I could not pick it up they HAVE to ship it. I said screw that $120 for a 30 minute drive, whatever they lost a sale that day.

 

Ya, thats a little strange.. and there is no way it cost that much to ship it.

 

I was the manager at a shipping company for almost 3 years, and yes I agree there is no way. At my old job we have shipped items larger than that to Europe, Asia, and South America and they cost about $120 tops, including oversize charges and such. $120 is a ripoff.

I think it's because they are not shipped from NY but directly from Taiwan or wherever they're made.

So the authentic is $20 cheaper than the replica? That's funny.

You can't argue with an authentic.
