Well, somehow I managed to burn out one of the bulbs. I suspect it was because some of the glue between the bulb glass and the base had come loose and fallen into the bulb. The glue then casused the filament to burn out.

I contacted Evostyle and they promptly send me another replacement bulb. Props to their excellent customer service. The bulbs may be on the expensive side but I feel their customer service is well worth it.

Anyhow, the new bulbs came with the tab shaved in a manner similar to sbonell's suggestion, so I plugged them in without any difficulty or further modification. Again, I believe this is because Evostyle listen to their customer.

I checked it out and there were no turn signals for the 350Z.
P.S. I did end up getting my order in and the bulbs are here already, these guys are fast. I almost feel like i can get them in from the top, but i'm gonna wait till i get my park lights from ares and just install everything at once through the wheel well.

I have the evostyle bulbs on there now as well, https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=64269 there's the link to the thread for cleared headlights and all

very happy with evostyle, however my bulbs needed to be shaved down a bit to fit as some others had been. Great bulbs otherwise, look and brightness is perfect

Default Ick!

toykilla - congrats, you now have a ricey 350Z!

The whole reason we went with these bulbs is so that the car wouldn't look ricey. This is a 350Z after all, not a [insert commonly riced-out car here]....

I always felt the car dropped about 4 notches in its classiness when you start with those sort of rice mods.

P.S. Now all you have to do is get them to flash really really fast....

Not anymore...

Maybe parked, but it won't look so good when the bulbs are flashing a "rice white" like the (farting) Civic next to you at the stoplight trying to race.

Do you think you outsmarted everyone on this thread who bought silver bulbs or something? Come on, we knew we wanted it to look clean, but we didn't want it to look ricey.

I bought these bulbs #1 to get rid of the amber in the enclosure #2 because they blink amber so they are legal and I won't be harrassed. If I had $90 to blow on lights i'd just get ARES lights but don't dog the guy for getting white bulbs. They are just light bulbs not the hang glider wing on the trunk lid. Who uses their blinkers anyway?

Sorry to hear about the bad experience with the ebay bulbs.

EVOstyle bulbs are certainly the highest quality you'll find and they're backed up by a lifetime guarantee, so you'll be set.
